This role is Frankfurt or Lisbon based
What you’ll own
As our first local lead for BeNe and part of the founding team for the market, you will own the full commercial and operational setup for nydo across Belgium and the Netherlands — from launching the brand to driving daily sales. You'll start lean and hands-on, and grow your own team as the region scales.
- Full ownership of nydo BeNe: strategy, execution, and growth across Belgium and the Netherlands
- Management of the local web shops: including pricing, content localization (NL/FR), campaigns, and merchandising
- Lead full-funnel growth: from traffic generation (paid, SEO, social) to on-site conversion and retention
- Set the structure and approach for a new market: define the BeNe playbook, prioritize ruthlessly, and bring clear thinking to ambiguous problems
- Manage and optimize the product portfolio: bestsellers, switches, and exclusive launches
- Build and activate marketing channels: from Google, Meta, influencer marketing and PR to partnerships and local events
- Identify and execute revenue growth opportunities: B2B, channel expansion, and offline activations that align with company business goals
- Coordinate with central Operations teams: logistics, support, production planning, and campaign execution
- Start lean and hands-on: build and grow your own team as the market scales
KPIs you’ll own
- Full country P/L responsibility including Gross & Net revenue, Contribution Margin, order volume, AOV, and growth
- Marketing spend and performance: Cost per acquisition & Return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Full webshop conversion metrics, from traffic to conversion %
- Customer satisfaction & NPS
Who you are
- Entrepreneurial mindset: you love building from 0 to 1, take ownership and make things happen: curious, driven, accountable, and proactive
- Thought leadership: you bring structure to ambiguity — frame the problem, define the approach, and align others around a clear plan
- Hands-on execution: you happily go from strategy deck to shipped campaign yourself; no task is below you when launching a market
- Experience: 4–7 years in D2C, omni-channel, digital-first brands, consulting, or a comparable high-velocity environment
- eCommerce fluency: comfortable with eCommerce metrics, digital channels, and customer lifecycle management (direct experience a plus, but not required)
- Languages: fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are a strong bonus
- Track record: bonus points if you've previously launched, scaled, or owned a country, category, or webshop (Shopify, Meta, Google Ads, analytics)
- Strategic instinct: a strategic thinker with creative instincts and hands-on execution power
Nice to haves
- Previous experience with home/lifestyle/furniture brands
- Previous experience in Dutch and Belgian retail and consumer market
- You've launched a brand or product into a new market from scratch
- Experience operating in bilingual or multi-language markets (NL/FR)
