General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

for the online shop and by nydo at www.nydo-studio.de

"nydo" is a brand of Designmöbel Direkt GmbH. The contractual partner for orders in the online shop www.nydo-studio.de as well as the provider of all services mentioned therein is exclusively Designmöbel Direkt GmbH. Wherever "nydo" is mentioned in this privacy policy, it legally refers to Designmöbel Direkt GmbH.

Below, you will learn which data we collect, how we use it, on what basis this occurs, and what rights you have.

1. General Information

  • Our online shop is available to all customers aged 18 and over.
  • We sell exclusively in quantities customary for households.
  • These GTC apply to all orders via www.nydo-studio.de. Separate B2B GTC apply to business customers.
  • "Working days" are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

2. Registration & Use

  • To place an order, we require your personal data. This will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Please keep your data up to date and treat your access credentials confidentially.
  • Content you post on our site (e.g., reviews) must not infringe upon the rights of third parties. nydo receives a simple, revocable right of use for publication on our channels.
  • Only one customer account is permitted per customer.
  • Abuse or unlawful use may result in the blocking of the account.

3. Conclusion of Contract

  • The contractual partner is Designmöbel Direkt GmbH.
  • Contracts are concluded exclusively in German.
  • By clicking on "Buy now," you submit a binding offer.
  • You will immediately receive an order confirmation by email. This does not constitute an acceptance. The contract is only concluded upon our shipping confirmation or delivery.
  • Order data will be stored and sent to you by email.

4. Prices & Shipping Costs

  • The prices stated on the product page at the time of the order, including VAT, shall apply.
  • Shipping costs and any additional charges for extra services (e.g., assembly) are shown separately.
  • The price at checkout is definitive.

5. Assembly Service

  • For selected products, we offer a paid assembly service.
  • Assembly is carried out by nydo or commissioned partners.
  • Painting or electrical work is not part of the service.
  • Risk transfers to you upon handover after assembly.
  • For documentation purposes, photos may be taken (see privacy policy).

6. Payment Methods

We offer: Prepayment (SEPA bank transfer), credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna (invoice, instant transfer, installment purchase).

  • Processing is handled via Shopify Payments or Mollie.
  • For Klarna, Klarna's GTC/privacy policy applies. A credit check may be performed.

7. Invoices

You will receive invoices electronically by email (Section 14 of the German Value Added Tax Act - UStG).

8. Vouchers

  • Promotional vouchers (e.g., influencer codes) are not for sale, have limited validity, and do not apply to shipping or assembly costs.
  • Only one voucher can be redeemed per order.
  • Remaining balances are not refunded.
  • Legal rights remain unaffected.

9. Delivery

  • Delivery only within Germany.
  • Delivery time and shipping method (parcel or freight forwarding) depend on the product page.
  • Nydo is not liable for delays due to force majeure. If such a delay lasts longer than 8 weeks, both parties may withdraw from the contract.
  • If delivery fails for reasons for which you are responsible, you shall bear the costs for re-delivery and, if applicable, storage.

10. Warranty & Liability

  • Statutory liability for defects applies.
  • For used goods, the limitation period is one year.
  • nydo is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence.
  • In cases of simple negligence, only for material contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
  • Claims under the Product Liability Act, for injury to life, body, or health, fraudulent concealment, or the assumption of a guarantee remain unaffected.

11. Guarantees

Additional guarantees only exist if they are expressly stated on the product page. Details can be found in our guarantee policy

12. Right of Withdrawal

You have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. Details regarding requirements, deadlines, and the exercise of the right of withdrawal can be found in our cancellation policy.

13. Consequences of Withdrawal

  • In the event of an effective withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including the costs of our most cost-effective standard delivery, in accordance with statutory provisions.
  • We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
  • nydo bears the costs of return shipment.
  • The return must be sent to the return address provided by us for the respective return or via the return process communicated by us.

14. Voluntary Right of Return

  • In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, we grant you a voluntary right of return totaling 100 days.
  • Prerequisite for a return after the statutory withdrawal period has expired is that the goods are returned complete and in impeccable condition. Original packaging is desired but not required.
  • nydo also bears the costs of return shipment within the scope of the voluntary right of return.
  • Your legal rights, in particular your statutory right of withdrawal and warranty, remain unaffected by this.

15. Retention of Title

Goods remain the property of nydo until full payment is made.

20. Dispute Resolution

We do not participate in arbitration proceedings before consumer arbitration boards.

21. Amendments to the GTC

The GTC valid at the time of the order shall apply.

22. Final Provisions

  • German law applies, the UN Sales Convention is excluded.
  • Should any provision be ineffective, the remainder of the contract remains effective.
