At nydo, comfort doesn't end with the purchase – we deliver your sofa free of charge directly to your home. Our partner forwarding company delivers with a professional two-person team directly to your living room and, if desired, also takes care of professional assembly.

Delivery & Assembly
Nydo – Designmöbel Direkt GmbH
1. Delivery
Delivery of your sofa or armchair is free of charge, provided that access for a 3.5-tonne vehicle is possible without additional effort or cost. Delivery is carried out by our logistics partner Gyger with a 2-person team, directly into your living room, including assembly.
Special Notice for Alpine and Car-Free Areas
| ⚠ Important: Special logistical requirements apply to the postal code areas listed below (e.g. due to difficult access or absence of a public road). Orders from these areas are treated as non-binding order requests. After receiving your request, our team will contact you to communicate the individual logistics surcharge. A binding purchase contract is only concluded once written agreement on the total price has been reached. |

Please note that neither standard delivery conditions nor standard pricing apply to these areas. Nydo reserves the right to decline orders from these areas if safe and economically viable delivery is not possible.
Delivery Conditions
- Any special requirements (e.g. narrow stairwells or long carry distances) must be communicated in advance, otherwise delays or additional costs may arise.
- Delivery without a lift is possible up to the 5th floor. From the 6th floor onwards, delivery is made to the kerbside only.
- The maximum carry distance is 150 metres. For longer distances, prior arrangement is required.
- If the conditions are not met, delivery restrictions or additional charges may apply.
We cannot guarantee specific delivery time slots for sustainability reasons, but we will make every effort to accommodate preferences in route planning.
Delivery Acceptance & Inspection
Please inspect your sofa or armchair immediately upon delivery for completeness and visible damage. Any defects or transport damage must be documented on the spot and reported to our customer service within 24 hours: service@nydo-studio.ch
Not Available at the Time of Delivery
- With a written authorisation, delivery can be handed over to a neighbour.
- Otherwise, a re-delivery will be required, which will incur additional costs.
- If a delivery appointment is missed or cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, an inconvenience fee of CHF 250.– will be charged. A new appointment will only be arranged once this fee has been paid.
Address Changes
Once a delivery appointment has been confirmed, address changes are generally no longer possible. Please check your details carefully before confirming your order.
2. Shipping Costs

Sofas and armchairs are delivered free of charge in accordance with the standard conditions stated above.

Fabric samples are also free of charge, limited to a maximum of 5 per address.
3. Delivery Delays
In rare cases, unforeseen delivery delays may occur. No right to compensation or damages arises in such cases. We will inform you as early as possible and ensure smooth handling.
4. Assembly Service
We want your new sofa or armchair to be perfect from the moment it arrives. That is why we deliver directly into your living room and assemble it there free of charge.
If you do not require the assembly service, simply let us know at service@nydo-studio.ch.
The service includes:
- Assembly and connection of sofa modules
- Attachment of legs or support elements
- Adjustments for stability and function
- Free disposal of all packaging materials
Nydo continuously develops its services. We therefore reserve the right to adapt our logistics and assembly service offering in the future.
5. Old Sofa Disposal Service (on request)
This service costs CHF 200.– including VAT per sofa and can be selected directly when placing your order.
It covers exclusively the collection of one sofa from the delivery location of your new nydo sofa. Additional items of furniture or disposal services are not included. Collection takes place at the same time as delivery of your new sofa.
Please note: this service is a firm booking and is non-refundable.
